A blind man had the sight restored to his eye by implanting one of his own teeth  in the socket to act as a lens holder.
Martin Jones worked at a scrapyard 12 years ago when a tub of white hot aluminium exploded in his face and caused 37% burns to his body. His right eye was saved by surgeons but until now had remained blind.
