Skin Grafting is a type of graft surgery that involves the transplantation of healthy skin from one area of the body to an affected area. The transplanted tissue is called a skin graft, and is used to treat the loss of skin resulting from trauma, burns, or the outcome of such ailments as necrotizing fasciitis (otherwise known as flesh-eating disease).
