Honestly if you want to know why Batman is necessary in Gotham City just remember that the Gotham City Police Department had a banquet honoring Commissioner Gordon and they ordered a cake from “Crazy Clown Catering.” Honestly, guess who jumped out of the cake, much to the surprise of the entire Gotham City Police Force, who by all logic should have an entire division devoted to Clown Felonies by this point

i was pretty apathetic about the love interest because i was too interested in Yet Another Joker Origin Story lol. THE PLOT THICKENS……
oh man. i think i was most afraid of clayface. the concept of losing identity and multiple selves terrified me even as a child. the idea of becoming liquid and rejoining some sort of stream of consciousness of your own making. a flood of selves born from the need to survive, your vanity, greed, envy, etc…man… clayface made the most scared, but way they used shadows for two-face’s episodes was incredible. actually the lighting in that whole series was just on another level, but i felt it was best exemplified in the two-face eps

they actually did one but it was TERRIBLE and i’m so mad about it!!! they did killing joke as a limited release in the theaters and it was so…. bad… SO BAD…. i can rant all day about how horrible it was, even considering the amazing voice cast, it was so bad. fuck. i was so embarrassed to be there…
GANGSTER JOKER IS MY FAVORITE. best origin story, better than the failed comedian, i don’t wanna feel sorry for him i want a rotten egg!!!!! ROTTEN!!!!! EW!!!
AGREED!!! the lighting and shadows was so amazingly done, the art was so stylized, i appreciate every second of it, even the goofy inbetweens. I’m gonna watch the Clayface ones next now thanks lol, and yeah that episode was really intense and i felt bad for Hagen 😦 they tried to re-do clayface’s origin story and IT’S BAD!!!!!! animated series DID IT RIGHT!!! the psychological aspects they took with the stories are just so… You don’t see that anymore, Kit!!! you just don’t!!!

ME TOO. my absolute fav was the masked phantasm movie. it was a perfect blend of hilarious and genuinely very disturbing
i actually saw mask of the phantasm in theater ( it was limited showing i guess? ) when i was growing up . i remember being really upset that they gave batman a love interest because i felt so happy seeing batman as ace or something idk.
BUT THAT TWIST!!!! i mean seeing the opening credits you’d know what’s up. also people died????? they weren’t allowed to show death in the animated series so this was really something. felt like i was watching something FORBIDDEN.
i’m watching the two face ep now and i remember having a fear of people’s building anger to violence, and seeing harvey just BLOW THE FUCK UP man I REMEMBER THE FEAR…. i love two face………..
